We collect your email address, name, and home address to provide neighborhood safety alerts. We collect payment information through Stripe (we never store card details directly). We collect device push notification tokens to send alerts to your device. We collect your mobile phone number when you opt-in to receive critical SMS safety alerts.
Your address is used to determine which local alerts are relevant to you. Your email is used for account management and important notifications. We never use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your saved address coordinates are stored securely in our database and used only to calculate distances to nearby alerts and incidents. We do not track your real-time GPS location unless you explicitly use the evacuation routing feature.
If you post community alerts your reports are visible to users within your alert radius. Missing person alerts show your name and general area publicly — you are informed of this before posting. Your personal address is never shown publicly.
All data is stored securely using Supabase with Row Level Security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. All connections use HTTPS encryption.
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone which permanently removes all your data from our systems.
Together Safe uses Google Maps for location services, Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, and Google Gemini for AI features. Each service has its own privacy policy.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Canadian users have additional rights under PIPEDA. Contact support@togethersafe.app to exercise your rights.

We partner with third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense (for our web platform) and Google AdMob (for our native mobile apps), to display advertisements to users on our Free tier. These partners may use cookies, mobile device identifiers, and similar tracking technologies to collect browsing and usage data (such as IP address, device type, and app interaction) in order to serve relevant ads. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy, and users can review or adjust their ad personalization settings at any time at adssettings.google.com. Important distinction regarding mobile messaging data: Advertising data collection is strictly limited to general web browsing activity and does not apply to mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent. As stated in Section 2 of this policy, mobile phone information and SMS consent will never be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Users on paid subscription plans (Individual, Family, Ad-Free Basic, and above) do not see advertisements.
Strictly Necessary — We use Supabase Auth session cookies (30-day lifespan, .togethersafe.app domain) to keep you logged in securely, and a NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember your language preference. During active checkout, Stripe sets cookies on checkout.stripe.com (not our domain) for fraud prevention and session management. Analytics — We use Google Analytics (_ga) to understand how our app is used. We have explicitly disabled Google Signals and ad personalization for this integration to protect your privacy. Advertising — We use Google AdSense and Google AdMob for users on the Free tier. Please see Section 14 for details on how AdSense and AdMob use cookies and device identifiers for ad delivery and personalization. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core application functionality. Analytics and advertising cookies are subject to our existing consent banner (the 3-choice Google CMP) for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
